Loot To Forge Progression Tips
Forge versus sell decisions, backpack cadence, Rebirth timing, retreat rules, and Frost Tower prep for mid and late game.
Mid and late game goals
Early +1 Loot To Forge is simple: swing, loot, forge something less embarrassing, repeat. Mid and late game are about resource discipline. You juggle ores for crafts, Coins for upgrades and enchants, Rebirth multipliers, and the discipline to leave a stage before a wipe deletes a full bag. This page focuses on those decisions once you already know the hub layout.

Forge vs sell
Every ore is either future Power (forge) or Coins (sell). Wrong splits stall you for hours.
Forge when
- Enemies on your target stage take more than about four hits.
- A weapon or armor slot is a full rarity behind the rest of your kit.
- You just unlocked better ore types deeper in the dungeon and your blade is still built from starter junk.
- You are preparing Frost Tower or a boss gate and need a coordinated Power bump.
Sell when
- Your bag is clogged with duplicate low-rarity junk after RNG armor rolls.
- Backpack upgrades or enchants are clearly the bottleneck (you keep aborting runs at capacity).
- You already hold a strong Epic/Legendary set and extras will not be crafted soon.
- You need Coins to unlock the next capacity tier before a long farm session.
Rule of thumb: if a stage wall is Power-shaped, forge; if it is time-shaped because you return every thirty seconds with a full bag, sell and upgrade capacity. Do not sell your best ores “for upgrades” right before a planned Legendary craft—sell the duplicates instead.
Backpack upgrades cadence
Carry capacity is quiet Power. Longer runs mean better ores, which mean better forges, which mean deeper stages.
- After each comfortable clear streak, check whether capacity aborted you early.
- Buy the next backpack level when you repeatedly leave with a full bag while combat was still easy.
- Avoid hoarding millions of Coins while walking a starter bag into late stages.
- After a big capacity jump, push one stage further than usual—your loot loop just got longer.
Pair backpack spending with the upgrade notes in enchant and upgrades. Enchants on a weak Common weapon are usually worse value than capacity or a real reforge.
Rebirth cadence
Rebirth resets current Power but grants permanent Power-gain and Coin multipliers, and it unlocks better training options over time. Mid/late players should treat Rebirth as a rhythm, not a panic button.
Rebirth often when
- You hit the offered threshold and can recover Power in roughly a minute or two with current gear and training.
- Coin and Power multipliers will clearly shorten the next climb.
- You are about to start a long AFK-friendly train → dungeon cycle.
Delay a Rebirth when
- You are one forge away from a stage breakthrough and the reset would waste a prepared push.
- You have not spent Coins on a critical backpack tier that the next cycle needs.
- You are mid Frost Tower attempt with a configured loadout (finish or consciously abort first).
After Rebirth: train, confirm weapon/armor still match your target stage, then push. Multipliers make “frequent Rebirths” strong over a session even though each reset feels scary the first time.
Stage retreat rules
The dungeon is a hallway of rising Power. The skill gap is not mechanical combos—it is knowing when to leave.
- Four-hit heuristic: if a new pack regularly survives more than about four hits, retreat to hub, train or forge, then return.
- Bag risk: dying deep drops the value of the whole run. Turning around with a full bag is a win.
- Do not ego a boss gate because chat said the stage number is “easy.” Your Power, not the number, matters.
- After a failed push: spend ores/Coins with intent (weapon, armor, bag, enchant) before repeating the same wall.
Auto-combat handles swinging; you handle positioning, Q skills, and the retreat call. See weapons for Katana vs Greatsword skill habits.
Frost Tower prep
Frost Tower (and similar tower rounds) punish incomplete kits. Prep checklist:
- Weapon at the highest rarity you can stably craft—Legendary if available.
- Helmet and armor both filled with competitive Power pieces (armor tier list).
- Enchants applied to the weapon you will actually use.
- Backpack high enough that you are not ejecting every few rooms if the mode drops loot.
- Rebirth multipliers recently claimed so training recovery stays fast if you die and reset Power plans.
- Practice Q timing on normal dungeon packs that match tower density before committing tickets or long attempts.
If tower rounds are selectable in scripts or menus, still clear a few manually first so you understand failure points. Automation without prep just fails faster.
Sample mid-game session plan
- Redeem any new codes.
- Rebirth if the threshold is up and recovery looks fast.
- Train to a comfortable Power band.
- Run dungeon to the retreat rule; fill the bag with the best ores you can reach.
- Sell junk → forge weak slots → buy backpack if needed → enchant if Coins remain.
- Repeat until you gain a stage, then lock that stage as the new farm floor.
- Once Epic/Legendary kits stabilize, schedule a Frost Tower push on a fresh setup.
Late-game mindset
Late game is less about discovering systems and more about closing leaks: empty armor slots, outdated Commons kept for looks, skipped Rebirths, and bags that are too small for your stage length. Keep tier lists bookmarked, re-read forge habits after patches, and do not let one lucky Legendary sword distract you from the rest of the kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Loot To Forge questions.
Should I sell ores or forge them?
Forge when Power or rarity is blocking stages. Sell duplicates and junk when backpack upgrades or enchants are the real bottleneck. Protect your best ores before a planned high-rarity craft.
How often should I Rebirth?
As often as you can recover Power quickly with current gear. Frequent Rebirths stack permanent multipliers; delay only if you are mid breakthrough forge or a tower attempt.
When should I retreat from a dungeon stage?
Leave when enemies consistently take more than about four hits or when a wipe would waste a full bag. Returning with loot beats dying deep.
What should I prepare before Frost Tower?
High-rarity weapon, both armor slots filled, useful enchants, adequate backpack, and fresh Rebirth multipliers. Learn Q timing on normal stages first.
